Instrument Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and equipment used in industrial and manufacturing settings. This is a full-time job with a salary of 1100$, without accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various instruments such as gauges, meters, transmitters, controllers, and sensors.
- Calibrate and adjust instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on instruments and equipment.
- Identify and diagnose malfunctions in instruments and take corrective actions.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop solutions for complex instrument issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician.
- Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and schematics.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in challenging environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
