Junior Game Developer - Lisbon, Portugal


We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Game Developer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a game developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing game mechanics, systems, and features for our upcoming projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the game design team to develop new game concepts and mechanics
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for gameplay features
- Work with artists to integrate assets into the game engine
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues
- Optimize gameplay systems for performance on various platforms
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new technologies into projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with C++ or other object-oriented programming languages
- Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Passion for gaming and a strong understanding of game design principles
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)
- Availability to work in Lisbon with accommodation provided

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing games for mobile platforms (iOS/Android)
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Lua or Python
- Understanding of 3D math concepts (vectors, matrices, quaternions)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this position.
