Merchandising Assistant

The Merchandising Assistant will support the merchandising team in the planning, implementation, and execution of product strategies. Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating product assortments based on market trends and consumer demand
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including buying, planning, and marketing to ensure cohesive product strategies
- Conduct regular store visits to analyze sales data and make recommendations for product placement and promotions
- Support visual merchandising efforts by providing input on product displays
- Assist in pricing analysis to ensure competitive pricing while maximizing profits
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify potential opportunities or threats

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in retail or fashion industry preferred but not required
