Excavator Operator



We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Mombasa. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth or other materials. This is a full-time job with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Excavator Operator
- Valid Excavator Operator license
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Willingness to work overtime and on weekends if necessary

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain excavators according to safety standards
- Dig trenches, holes, or foundations using excavator machinery
- Load and unload materials onto trucks or into designated areas
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Follow all safety procedures on construction sites
- Communicate with site foreman and team members to ensure efficient operation of machinery

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working on construction sites in Mombasa or similar areas
- Knowledge of basic mechanics for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Ability to operate other heavy machinery such as bulldozers or loaders is a plus
