Restaurant Manager for a Seafront Restaurant in Malindi
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our seafront restaurant in Malindi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in food and beverage management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and budgets
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing any issues that may arise
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality ingredients and timely deliveries
- Create and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Train and mentor staff to maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety
- Monitor expenses and control costs to ensure profitability while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with chefs to develop new menu items based on market trends and customer preferences
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team, controlling costs, and driving profits
- Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of Kenyan cuisine is an asset
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
