Junior Commercial Architect

We are hiring a Junior Commercial Architect to join our team in Washington, USA. As a Junior Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings and structures. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in the field to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills in architecture.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior architects to develop design concepts for commercial projects
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction projects
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project feasibility
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Prepare presentations to pitch design concepts to clients
- Oversee the construction process, ensuring that the design plans are followed accurately
- Review and approve material choices and finishes for projects
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, building codes, and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within project timelines
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently when needed

Preferred:
- Experience with commercial projects or internships in architecture firms
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices
- Familiarity with building codes in Washington, USA

Salary: $1600 per month
