Housekeeping Supervisor

We are currently hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor for our luxury hotel in Mombasa. As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department and ensuring high levels of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your duties will include supervising and training housekeeping staff, managing inventory and supplies, inspecting rooms for cleanliness, and handling guest requests and complaints.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. A strong attention to detail and time management skills are also essential for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff
- Ensure all rooms are cleaned to hotel standards
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly
- Maintain a schedule for deep cleaning of guest rooms
- Create work schedules for housekeeping staff
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback when necessary

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in a hotel setting
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lead, motivate, and train a team of housekeepers
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
