Junior Back-End Developer in Dickirch, Luxembourg


We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Dickirch, Luxembourg. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness of our applications, as well as collaborating with the front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into the application.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient and scalable server-side code
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements into applications
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain APIs for integration with external systems
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience working with back-end languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of database design and management (SQL or NoSQL)
- Understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Jinja2 or Thymeleaf)
- Experience working with web servers (such as Apache or Nginx)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
