Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine (St. Petersburg, Russia)
As an Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations and leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff in St. Petersburg, Russia. Your main goal will be to create authentic and delicious Indian dishes that meet the high standards of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus, ensuring a balance of traditional and innovative dishes
- Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain consistency
- Control food costs by implementing inventory systems and portion control measures
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to plan special events or promotions featuring Indian cuisine
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations and techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Biometric passport or willingness to obtain one for international travel
Salary: $1800 per month
