Power Engineer

Our company is currently seeking a qualified Power Engineer to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining power systems and equipment. This role requires strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop power systems and equipment according to project specifications
- Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the system meets safety standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with power systems or equipment
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure successful project completion
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of power systems to ensure optimal performance
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Power Engineer
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, controls, motors, and generators
- Experience with design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English (Malayalam proficiency is a plus)
