Merchandiser for an Indian Retail Company in Herzliya, Israel

As a Merchandiser for our Indian retail company in Herzliya, Israel, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and promotional activities of our products. This will include developing and implementing effective strategies to increase sales and profitability, as well as maintaining inventory levels and monitoring market trends.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute merchandising plans to meet sales objectives
- Monitor inventory levels and make necessary adjustments to ensure product availability
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify consumer trends and preferences
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, promotions, and delivery schedules
- Create effective product displays to attract customers and increase sales
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly
- Develop promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase brand awareness
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Willingness to relocate to Herzliya and work on a contract basis
