Senior Java Developer


As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java programming language. You will work closely with a team of developers and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle. Your main focus will be on creating efficient, scalable, and robust code that meets project requirements and industry standards. This role requires strong technical skills in Java, as well as experience with object-oriented design principles and software development best practices. Additionally, you should have excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work independently or collaboratively. This position is located in Utena and is open to candidates from any nationality or location.

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development
- Strong knowledge of Java programming language and its ecosystem (Spring Framework, Hibernate)
- Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with database systems such as MySQL or Oracle
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and design patterns
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Availability to work full-time from our office in Utena

Responsibilities:
- Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software applications using Java programming language
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze user needs, and develop solutions that meet business objectives
- Participating in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards
- Troubleshooting issues reported by users or identified during testing phases
- Developing technical specifications based on system requirements and project objectives
- Maintaining existing applications by implementing bug fixes, enhancements, and performance improvements
- Staying updated with industry trends and advancements in Java development to continuously improve skills and knowledge
- Communicating project status, progress, and potential roadblocks to project managers and team members
