Instrument Technician

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, calibrate, and repair various types of instruments such as gauges, meters, sensors, controllers, and analyzers
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments to identify and resolve malfunctions
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints to determine the location of equipment and perform necessary repairs
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities performed on instruments
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to report progress and any issues encountered
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Previous experience working as an Instrument Technician or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose problems quickly and effectively
- Familiarity with various types of instruments used in industrial settings
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Good communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
