Typesetter

We are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Faisalabad. In this role, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital materials, including books, magazines, and websites. You will work closely with editors, graphic designers, and production managers to ensure that the final product meets our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Use desktop publishing software (such as Adobe InDesign) to format text and images according to design specifications
- Check for typos, spelling mistakes, and grammatical errors in the text
- Collaborate with editors to make any necessary changes or revisions
- Work with graphic designers to incorporate images and illustrations into the layout
- Communicate effectively with production managers to meet deadlines and ensure smooth production processes
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates to continuously improve skills

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in desktop publishing software (e.g. Adobe InDesign)
- Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of typography principles, page layout design, and printing processes preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field preferred

Salary: $1600/month without accommodation
