Hotel Sales Manager
Location: Akron, USA
The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting and selling hotel accommodations and services to potential clients. Duties include developing sales strategies, building relationships with corporate clients and travel agents, and coordinating with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as previous experience in hotel sales or a related field. A strong understanding of the hospitality industry is also required. This position offers a competitive salary of $1400 per month and does not include accommodation. Visa sponsorship and airfare will be provided for the selected candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new business
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other potential customers
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Negotiate contracts and rates with clients to maximize revenue
- Keep detailed records of sales activities and report on progress regularly
- Attend industry events to network and promote the hotel brand
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel sales or a related field preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Familiarity with market research techniques and data analysis
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of hospitality industry trends, standards, and practices
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organization skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
