Information Security Analyst



As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and information within our organization. Your primary role will be to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities, analyze and assess the effectiveness of current security measures, and implement solutions to mitigate any threats. You will also be responsible for monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and providing guidance on best practices for information security.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats
- Analyze current security measures and make recommendations for improvements
- Implement and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls
- Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activity
- Perform vulnerability testing and penetration testing on systems
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Provide training and guidance to employees on information security best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in the field of information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in information security or a related role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Experience with vulnerability management tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
