Surveyor - Land Development


A surveying company in Remish is seeking a skilled and experienced Surveyor to join our team. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and collecting data on land development projects. This is a contract position that offers a competitive salary of $1700 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction staking for land development projects
- Analyze survey data and create accurate maps using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Communicate with clients and project managers to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Travel to project sites as needed, which may require overnight stays

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in land development surveying
- Proficiency in CAD software and other surveying tools
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on large-scale land development projects
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire date
