Bilingual Interpreter (English/Indian) - Atlanta


We are hiring a skilled Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Atlanta. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and effective interpretation services for English and Indian languages. This role requires fluency in both English and an Indian language, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred, but we are open to candidates with a strong language background and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person or over the phone for clients who speak English and an Indian language
- Maintain accuracy and impartiality while interpreting conversations between parties
- Assist with document translation as needed
- Understand cultural differences and adapt communication accordingly
- Maintain confidentiality of all information exchanged during interpretation sessions

Requirements:
- Fluency in both English and an Indian language (Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, etc.)
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both languages
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed
- Previous experience as an interpreter preferred, but not required
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse populations
- Must have own visa/work permit to work in the US
