Land Surveyor
We are currently hiring a skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Nakuru. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for measuring and mapping land areas, conducting surveys and analyzing data to determine property boundaries and locations. You will also be responsible for creating detailed reports, maps, and drawings using specialized software.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various tools such as GPS, total stations, and level instruments
- Analyze survey data, maps, and other information to determine land boundaries
- Prepare detailed reports, maps, and drawings using specialized software
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate measurements and proper placement of structures
- Provide guidance and support to junior surveyors on the team
- Keep accurate records of survey data for future reference
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Land Surveyor
- Proficient in the use of surveying tools such as GPS, total stations, and level instruments
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Salary:
We offer a salary of $900 per month for this contract job. Accommodation will be provided during the duration of the contract.
