Mine Operator


We are in need of a skilled Mine Operator to join our team in Nakuru. As a Mine Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment in order to extract minerals and ores from underground mines.

Responsibilities:
- Operate drilling equipment, excavators, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery to extract minerals and ores from underground mines
- Monitor equipment operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times
- Transport extracted materials to designated locations using dump trucks or conveyor systems
- Keep accurate records of production levels, equipment usage, and any issues encountered during operations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a mining environment
- Valid certification for operating heavy equipment preferred
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a mining setting
- Physical stamina and ability to work long shifts in an underground environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary: 1300$ per month
