Mining Technician


Our company, located in Nakuru, is seeking a skilled Mining Technician to join our team. As a Mining Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mining equipment and machinery to ensure efficient and safe operations. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$. Candidates who are Nepali or foreigners with no English language requirement are welcome to apply. Own visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on mining equipment and machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with equipment to minimize downtime
- Perform routine inspections on equipment and identify any potential problems
- Collaborate with other team members to improve efficiency and safety in the mining operation
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on site
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any equipment malfunctions or repairs needed
- Stay up-to-date on new technology and techniques in the mining industry

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Mining Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mining equipment and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in English (Nepali language skills preferred)
- Willingness to work on a contract basis with own visa sponsorship
