Typesetter
As a typesetter, you will be responsible for creating and formatting text for various printed materials, such as books, magazines, and newspapers. You will use specialized software to arrange text, images, and graphics in an appealing and easy-to-read layout. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Receive written material from editors or writers
- Choose appropriate fonts, sizes, and spacing for text
- Format text to fit designated spaces on the page
- Adjust spacing between lines and letters to improve readability
- Insert images or graphics into the layout
- Ensure consistency in font styles and formatting throughout the document
- Proofread final layout for errors or inconsistencies
- Communicate with editors or designers to clarify any layout instructions or changes

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using typesetting software (e.g. Adobe InDesign)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of typography principles and design elements
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members

Salary: $1300 per month

Location: Los Angeles (remote work may be considered)
