We are hiring a skilled Turner to join our manufacturing team in Wiltz, Canada. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, tools, and equipment to produce high-quality products according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery to shape and finish metal components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure precise measurements and quality production
- Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers)
- Knowledge of different types of metal materials and their properties
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work consistently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
