Seasonal Executive Chef - Clairvaux, Egypt and Canada
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our seasonal team in Clairvaux, Egypt and Canada. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen staff management. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, culinary expertise, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create menus that reflect the local culture and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high quality standards are maintained
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to maintain budget guidelines
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing quality
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop new recipes and dishes that align with our brand
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff effectively
- Creativity in menu planning with a focus on utilizing fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Biometric passport for international travel is preferred but not required
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this seasonal position. Accommodation will be provided during your stay.
