We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Assistant to join our team in Siauliai, Canada. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support to all departments.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and clients, answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person
- Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
- Prepare and distribute memos, letters, and other documents
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoicing, and tracking expenses
- Keep track of office expenses and handle petty cash transactions
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning
- Coordinate with external vendors for office maintenance services
- Help with event planning and coordination for company events or meetings
- Assist with HR tasks such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee files
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in office administration are a plus
- 2+ years of experience working in an office setting in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
