We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles. As a cybersecurity expert, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's sensitive information and systems from potential cyber threats. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard company data and systems
- Investigate security incidents and provide timely response to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify security risks in new projects or systems
- Stay updated on the latest trends in information security and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security roles, preferably in a corporate environment
- Solid understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability assessment tools, etc.
- Experience with risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
