DevOps Developer - Contract Position in Faisalabad, Pakistan


We are currently hiring for a skilled DevOps Developer to join our team in Faisalabad, Pakistan. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1400$. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop and maintain our software applications that run on various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automation tools and frameworks for the continuous integration and deployment of software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test and production environments.
- Collaborate with software engineers to optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve efficiency.
- Design and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our systems.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in DevOps methodologies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a DevOps Developer or similar role.
- Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, Puppet or Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Ruby.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferences:
While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of database administration (MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Nagios or New Relic.
