Entry-Level Welder


A reputable manufacturing company in Karachi is seeking a skilled and dedicated Entry-Level Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to fuse metal parts together, ensuring the quality and strength of the welds.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and drawings to determine welding specifications
- Measure and mark workpieces using rulers, squares, or templates to ensure accurate welds
- Set up welding equipment according to specifications, including selecting the appropriate welding method and adjusting settings
- Operate welding equipment to fuse metal parts together by using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding
- Inspect completed welds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
- Clean and maintain welding equipment regularly to keep it in good working condition
- Follow all safety procedures and wear protective gear at all times while performing welding tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Proven experience as a Welder or completion of a formal training program in welding preferred
- Understanding of different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with various hand tools and measuring instruments used in welding
- Basic knowledge of metallurgy principles
- Physical dexterity and ability to work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
