Interpreter (English-Hindi) - Los Angeles, USA


We are hiring an experienced Interpreter to join our team in Los Angeles. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services between English and Hindi languages. This role will require strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to adapt to different settings and topics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and events
- Accurately interpret spoken or written words from English to Hindi and vice versa
- Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times
- Research unfamiliar terminology or concepts to ensure accurate interpretation
- Build relationships with clients to better understand their needs and preferences
- Collaborate with other interpreters and team members to ensure consistent interpretation quality

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Hindi languages (both written and spoken)
- Proven experience as an interpreter in a professional setting
- Strong knowledge of cultural differences, customs, and etiquette in both English-speaking countries and India
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen carefully and convey complex information accurately
- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain composure under pressure or when dealing with difficult situations

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in Interpretation or related field
- Experience working with diverse clients from various industries such as business, healthcare, legal, etc.
- Familiarity with specialized terminology in fields such as finance, technology, or science

Salary: $1300 per month (part-time)
Location: Los Angeles, USA (no relocation/visa assistance provided)
Work Schedule: Flexible hours depending on client needs. Must be available for occasional evening/weekend assignments.
