Foundry Technician



We are seeking a skilled Foundry Technician to join our team in Zagreb, Croatia. As a Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining foundry equipment, producing high-quality castings, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the foundry process.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain foundry equipment such as furnaces, ladles, and molds
- Prepare molds for casting by applying coatings and inserts as necessary
- Monitor temperature and pressure levels during the casting process to ensure quality control
- Pour molten metal into molds and remove finished castings from molds
- Inspect castings for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain accurate records of production data and inventory levels
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and making repairs when necessary
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in foundry operations preferred
- At least 2 years of experience working in a foundry setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Fluent English language skills required; knowledge of Croatian language is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

Location:
This is a full-time job located in Zagreb, Croatia. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.
