Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Akron. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect our company's sensitive information and systems. You will also be responsible for identifying potential security risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security principles, experience in conducting security audits, and knowledge of industry best practices. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1500 per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in information security
- In-depth knowledge of network and system security
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Valid work permit for Canada (preferably Canadian citizen)

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks
- Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity and take necessary actions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and recommend countermeasures
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures
- Conduct periodic employee training on information security practices
- Investigate any reported security incidents and provide recommendations for prevention
- Stay updated on industry best practices and make recommendations for improvement
