Entry-Level Carpenter


We are in search of an Entry-Level Carpenter to join our team in Malindi. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications.
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, and cabinets.
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures.
- Use hand tools such as saws, hammer drills, levels, and chisels to shape wood pieces.
- Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, planers, routers, sanders, and joiners.
- Work with materials such as wood, plastic laminates, fiberglass or drywall.
- Follow safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:
- No previous experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques is preferred.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and equipment.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Good time-management skills to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
- Must be able to read blueprints and follow building plans accurately.
- Proficient in using hand tools and woodworking machinery safely.

Location:
This position is located in Malindi. We welcome candidates from all nationalities who are legally allowed to work in Kenya.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with working hours from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday.
