Debt Collection Specialist

As a Debt Collection Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the financial success of our company by managing and collecting outstanding debt from customers. Your main responsibility will be to ensure timely and effective collection of payments to meet our financial goals.

Responsibilities:
- Contact customers via phone, email or in-person to discuss their overdue accounts and negotiate payment plans
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all communication and payment arrangements with customers
- Collect payments in a timely manner and update customer account information accordingly
- Identify and resolve any issues or disputes with customers that may hinder payment collection
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and implement appropriate collection actions such as issuing reminders, sending demand letters or initiating legal action if necessary
- Communicate with other departments within the company to resolve customer inquiries or issues related to payments

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is preferred but not required
- Previous experience in debt collection is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Strong communication skills and ability to negotiate effectively with customers
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficient in using computer programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.

This position is based in Pula, Croatia.
