Livestock Specialist
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are currently hiring a Livestock Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the health and well-being of our livestock, including cows, sheep, and goats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular health checks on livestock and provide appropriate treatments when necessary
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the livestock area
- Plan and implement feeding schedules for the livestock
- Maintain accurate records of livestock inventory, breeding cycles, and production levels
- Identify potential issues or concerns with livestock health and take proactive measures to prevent them
- Work closely with veterinarians to ensure proper vaccinations and medical care for the livestock
- Train and supervise farm workers in handling and caring for the livestock
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with livestock in a farm setting
- Knowledge of animal nutrition, breeding, and health management techniques
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle large animals safely
- Strong communication skills to effectively train and supervise workers
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Preference for Indian nationals with experience working in the Middle East
