Elevator Installer


We are currently seeking a skilled Elevator Installer to join our team in Washington. As an Elevator Installer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining elevators and escalators in various buildings and structures. This position requires previous experience in elevator installation and a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout of elevator systems
- Inspect and test elevator components to ensure they meet safety standards
- Install elevators, including the hoistway, car, controls, doors, and safety mechanisms
- Connect electrical wiring to control panels and other components
- Troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues and make necessary repairs
- Perform regular maintenance on elevators to ensure they are functioning properly
- Respond to service calls from clients regarding elevator malfunctions or breakdowns
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance performed on elevators

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in elevator installation
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina for climbing stairs and carrying heavy equipment
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license

Salary: $1400 per month (may vary based on experience)
