Preservation Architect

Our architecture firm in Gujrat is seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while ensuring they meet modern standards of safety and functionality.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies to restore and maintain their historical integrity
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure proper implementation of preservation plans
- Monitor progress of preservation projects and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for historic preservation
- Research historical information and materials to inform preservation decisions
- Provide guidance on appropriate materials, techniques, and treatments for restoration projects
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation on completed projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Strong understanding of architectural history, styles, and materials
- Working knowledge of building codes and regulations related to historic preservation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders
Salary for this position is $1200 per month. This is a full-time position without accommodation provided. Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.
