Preservation Architect - Gujrat, India

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Gujrat. Your main duties will include conducting research on historical structures, developing preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects. You will also collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all preservation work is carried out accurately and in accordance with local regulations.

To excel in this role, you should have a degree in architecture or a related field and at least 3 years of experience working on preservation projects. You must possess a strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction techniques as well as knowledge of historical preservation methods. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software is also required.

The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with various stakeholders including clients, government officials, and community members.

This is a contract position with a salary of $1800 per month. Applicants must be Indian citizens or hold valid work permits for India. Biometric passport may be required for international applicants.
