Preservation Architect

A reputable architecture firm in Gujrat is seeking a Preservation Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for historic preservation and possess strong design skills and technical knowledge. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, as well as the ability to balance historic preservation standards with modern design techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess the condition of historic buildings
- Prepare detailed reports on the state of preservation and any necessary repairs or updates
- Develop plans for preserving and restoring historic buildings, including materials selection and construction methods
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure preservation standards are met during construction
- Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with preservation plans
- Research historical documents and records to inform restoration plans
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision for the project while also adhering to preservation guidelines
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in the field of historic preservation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture with a focus on historic preservation
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other related design software
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and historic preservation guidelines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Salary: 1300$ per month with accommodation provided. Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates.
