Plasterboard Worker

A reputable construction company in Dickirch is seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing plasterboard walls, ceilings, and partitions in various commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in plasterboard installation, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit walls, ceilings, or partitions
- Install and secure plasterboard to structures using hand or power tools
- Tape joints between boards and apply coats of compound to create smooth finish
- Sand rough spots and apply touch-ups as needed
- Repair damaged or cracked plasterboard as required
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in plasterboard installation
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong knowledge of different types of plasterboards and their uses
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and work on ladders or scaffolding when necessary
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
