We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Akron. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining our company's network infrastructure, ensuring its stability, security, and efficient operation. This position requires strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and WiFi access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement security measures to protect the network from potential threats
- Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
- Set up and maintain virtual private networks (VPN)
- Administer backups of critical systems to ensure data protection
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software related issues
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in networking technology to improve our company's infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network troubleshooting tools
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Familiarity with firewalls, proxies, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and other network security tools
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems (2008/2012/2016)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards resolving issues
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this position.
