Collections Specialist


Our company in Malindi is seeking a Collections Specialist with experience in the field to join our team. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from our customers. This is a full-time position and we are looking for someone who is fluent in English, preferably Indian nationality.

Responsibilities:
- Contacting customers to remind them of their overdue payments
- Negotiating payment plans with customers to settle their debts
- Maintaining accurate records of all collections activities
- Providing excellent customer service while collecting payments
- Identifying and resolving any issues or disputes related to payments
- Working closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts and update payment statuses
- Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices for debt collection

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in collections or a related field
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and empathetically
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles and debt collection laws/regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month, with the potential for bonuses based on performance.
