Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Nairobi. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to their destination. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the assigned truck, following all traffic laws and company policies
- Load and unload cargo onto the truck, ensuring proper distribution and securing of the load
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues promptly
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, etc.
- Adhere to all safety regulations while on the road

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a truck driver
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo and perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience driving trucks in Nairobi or surrounding areas
- Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems
