Instrument Technician

We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Isa Town. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. This will include troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and calibrating instruments to ensure accurate readings.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair a variety of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves.
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and control systems to determine the root cause and implement solutions.
- Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Calibrate instruments according to industry standards to ensure accurate readings.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals to aid in installation and repair processes.
- Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records of instrument performance.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry advancements related to instrumentation.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in instrumentation or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles, including electrical circuits, control systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Familiarity with various measurement devices such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, pressure calibrators, etc.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals accurately.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
