Computer Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Support Specialist to join our team in Lisbon. As a Computer Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, software, and hardware. You will also be responsible for installing and configuring new equipment, performing upgrades and maintenance, and training end-users on new technology. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for technology. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available. Salary for this role is 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and network issues
- Install and configure new equipment (desktops, laptops, printers)
- Perform upgrades and maintenance on existing equipment
- Train end-users on new technology or software
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in technical support or helpdesk role
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, software, hardware, and networking
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience with Windows operating systems preferred
