Job Title: Barista - Specialty Coffee Shop (Akron, OH, USA)


We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team at our specialty coffee shop in Akron, OH. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages according to customer preferences
- Educate customers on our coffee offerings and provide recommendations based on their tastes
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment with precision and care
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all drinks served
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas at all times
- Handle customer orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
- Process payments using the point-of-sale system
- Stock supplies and maintain inventory levels as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of different brewing methods and latte art is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
