Radio Technician


As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment in Malindi. Your main duties will include troubleshooting technical issues, conducting routine maintenance checks, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.

Responsibilities:
- Install and set up new radio systems according to specifications
- Perform regular maintenance checks on existing radio equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely repairs
- Test and calibrate equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to resolve complex issues
- Stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Familiarity with various types of radio equipment and systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Physically fit to perform tasks such as climbing ladders or lifting heavy equipment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this position.

This job is located in Malindi, a beautiful coastal town in Kenya known for its sandy beaches, coral reefs, and diverse marine life. The town also has a vibrant community with plenty of cultural events, restaurants serving local delicacies, and opportunities for outdoor activities like diving or surfing.

Preference:
Preference will be given to applicants who are Filipino or Nepali nationals. However, we also welcome applications from English-speaking individuals who meet the requirements.

Experience:
While previous experience as a Radio Technician is preferred, we also welcome applications from students studying in related fields who have relevant technical knowledge.
