Entry-Level Insurance Claims Adjuster

As an entry-level insurance claims adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims to determine coverage and compensation for policyholders. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with policyholders, insurance companies, and other parties involved in the claims process to gather information and make fair and accurate decisions. This position is based in Malindi, Kenya and offers a salary of 1300$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims by gathering information from policyholders, witnesses, and other relevant parties
- Evaluate coverage based on policy terms and conditions
- Determine the cause of loss and extent of damage or injury
- Calculate claim amounts based on policy limits and deductibles
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders or their representatives
- Communicate findings and decisions to all parties involved in the claim process
- Maintain accurate records of all claim activities
- Follow company guidelines and protocols for handling claims

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field preferred but not required
- Previous experience in the insurance industry is a plus but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Comfortable working independently
- Proficient in basic computer applications
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes
