Senior Architect - Los Angeles, USA
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Architect to join our dynamic team in Los Angeles. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex architectural projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each project
- Develop design concepts, create sketches and drawings to convey ideas
- Lead and manage a team of architects, engineers, and designers in developing detailed plans and drawings
- Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
- Oversee the preparation of construction documents, including blueprints, specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Review and approve changes or revisions to plans as necessary
- Coordinate with contractors during the construction phase to address any issues or changes that may arise
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, construction methods, and building codes
- Mentor junior architects and provide guidance on projects when needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in architectural design with a focus on commercial or residential projects
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software programs
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex architectural projects from start to finish
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and team members
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, standards, sustainability principles
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
