Caregiver for Elderly in Malindi, Kenya


We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Caregiver to provide care and support for elderly individuals in Malindi, Kenya. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
- Keep accurate records of care provided and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client at all times

Requirements:
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Prior experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Compassionate attitude towards elderly individuals
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly
- Must be physically able to assist with personal care tasks such as lifting, bending, etc.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Must be willing to live-in with the client (accommodation provided)
- Must have legal authorization to work in Kenya (visa sponsorship available)
