Job Title:
Librarian - Al-Khor, Qatar

We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and reference needs, and promoting literacy and education within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of library materials
- Assist patrons in locating and using library resources for research and recreational purposes
- Develop and maintain relationships with local schools, organizations, and community groups to promote the library's services
- Plan and implement educational programs for children and adults, such as story time sessions and book clubs
- Keep up to date with new technologies in library services to enhance user experience
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, patron accounts, and statistics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a library setting
- Strong knowledge of cataloging systems, reference tools, and information literacy principles
- Excellent communication skills in English (Malayalee or Nepali language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Comfortable working with diverse populations
- Experience living abroad is preferred
Salary: 1100$ per month
